Recently, BioWare showed off the voice cast for Dragon Age 4: Shadowbringer, including actors who provide multiple voice options for the game's customizable character Rook. It can be found that the protagonist's English voice is deliberately divided into two accents, American and British.

According to BioWare's official explanation, the two accents are provided to enhance immersion. Some players find it difficult to immerse themselves in the characters they operate without the help of a specific accent. Rook's American voice actors are Erika Ishii and Jeff Berg, while Bryony Corrigan and Alex Jordan voice the British Rook.
