Developer 11 bit Studios has previously announced that the release window of Frostpunk 2 will be postponed from July to September. In order to make up for this delay, the official has shared the game's development progress on Twitter. The latest display is the UI/UX improvement, including the improved "Idea Tree" panel, which shows the city's position on an idea. The panel is located below "Faction".

Faction icons have more color and are easier to recognize at a glance. The text size and font of "Ideas" are also larger and clearer, and the panel has become less blurry. The developer also reiterated that five new city centers will be added and a new construction menu.

Frostpunk 2 will be released on PC on September 20. The game will also be available on Xbox Series X/S and PS5, but the specific release date has not yet been announced.
