According to the latest news from CNN, a senior White House official told CNN that day that Biden's decision to withdraw from the election had nothing to do with health issues.

The official said Biden has not undergone any major physical examinations as he considers his political future, except for daily doctor's checks in recent days due to his COVID-19 diagnosis. Medical health issues are not the final issue, the report said.

The report mentioned that just last week, Biden said that only new health problems would prompt him to reconsider his decision to seek a second term.
