SNK has announced that King of Fighters 15 will soon release DLC characters. At the 2024 EVO conference, SNK finally unveiled two new characters. Metra and Ves are secretaries of the famous villain Rugal in the game, and are also members of the Eight Great Sages of Orochi. They will debut as special DLC characters in December 2024.
Maitra made her debut in The King of Fighters 94, while Ves made her debut in The King of Fighters 95. The former is ruthless, the latter is cruel, and both are good at slashing and hacking. Maitra focuses on speed, using the Eight Great Masters' Light to increase his speed. Ves is a throwing character, and uses the Eight Great Masters' Darkness to exert super strength.
It is not clear whether these two characters will be available for free or need to be purchased. The King of Fighters 15 is now available on PS4, PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S platforms.
