IT Home reported on July 21 that Huawei has released HarmonyOS NEXT Developer Beta2, which is a Beta trial version for developers.

According to reports, HarmonyOS NEXT Developer Beta2 is based on Beta1:

• Enhanced the basic capabilities of ArkUI (Ark development framework)

• Added gesture interception capabilities, enriched the lifecycle management capabilities of various components, and provided more detailed settings for various components;

• Enhanced graphics drawing capabilities for 2D graphics;

• Enhanced the task processing capability of TaskPool;

• Enhanced the building drawing capabilities of the map service and enriched the map information available;

• Three new kits have been added: UI Design Kit, Weather Service Kit, and Wear Engine.
