IT Home reported on July 18 that IT Home learned from BYD officials that the new Song L DM-i and Song PLUS DM-i new cars have arrived in stores and will hold a launch conference on July 25, equipped with the fifth-generation DM technology.

The body dimensions of BYD Song L DM-i are 4780mm in length, 1898mm in width and 1670mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2782mm.

This new car adopts the "Dragon Roar Dawn" front face design, equipped with "Dragon Soul Pleasing Headlights", "Dragon Color Flying Wing Waistline", "New Streamer Rui Tail Lights", and the tail adopts the "Dragon Driving Wide Shoulder Design".

In terms of interior, Song L DM-i offers brown interior, equipped with a simple rectangular central control screen, a panel in front of the co-pilot presents a luminous geometric pattern, and the front and rear seats are perforated. In addition, the car also provides crystal gear lever, wireless charging, ambient lighting and other configurations, and some physical buttons are retained in the steering wheel and other positions.

In terms of configuration, the new Song L DM-i supports intelligent power on and off, 50W wireless fast charging, 10-speaker INFINITY audio system, DiPilot intelligent driving assistance, automatic parking and other functions.

In terms of power, Song L DM-i will be equipped with the new fifth-generation DM hybrid system, in which the 1.5-liter engine has a maximum power of 74 kilowatts, the drive motor has a maximum power of 160 kilowatts, and is equipped with 18.316/26.593 kWh batteries. The fuel consumption per 100 kilometers is 4.95 liters and 4.98 liters respectively.

The appearance of the new Song PLUS DM-i is basically the same as the current model, and the logo on the rear of the car has been changed from "BUILD YOUR DREAMS" to "BYD". The body size remains unchanged, with a length, width and height of 4775/1890/1670 mm respectively, and a wheelbase of 2765 mm, positioning it as a compact SUV.

In terms of power, the new Song PLUS DM-i adopts the fifth-generation DM hybrid technology, with a 1.5-liter engine with a maximum power of 74 kW and a drive motor with a maximum power of 160 kW. Compared with the current model, the engine power is reduced by 7 kW and the maximum power of the drive motor is increased by 15 kW.

The new Song PLUS DM-i is expected to be equipped with 12.96 kWh, 18.316 kWh and 26.593 kWh lithium iron phosphate batteries, with pure electric ranges of 60 km, 91 km and 128 km under WLTC conditions, respectively, 5 km, 6 km and 12 km higher than the current models. The WLTC fuel consumption per 100 kilometers of different endurance models is 4.93 liters, 4.95 liters and 4.98 liters, respectively, 0.47 liters, 0.35 liters and 0.42 liters lower than the current models.
