On July 16, the People's Government of Longgang District and China Post Putai Communication Services Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "China Post Putai"), a subsidiary of China General Technology Group, signed a memorandum of cooperation at Huawei's headquarters. Huawei and China Post Putai will comprehensively deepen cooperation with Longgang District in the fields of intelligent driving software and Hongmeng Intelligent Driving, and expand business layout.

The signing of this memorandum of cooperation is one of the important results of Longgang District's focus on the "20+8" industrial clusters, deepening the layout of the "3+4" key industries, and striving to attract a number of major projects with high technology content, high added value, good market prospects, and strong radiation and driving force. With the gradual implementation of the Hongmeng Intelligent Driving series of projects, it will promote the continuous upgrading of Shenzhen's industrial structure, the continuous improvement of the entire vehicle intelligent industry chain, and help build a highland for the intelligent connected vehicle industry.

It is reported that China General Technology Group was established in 1998. It is an important state-owned backbone enterprise directly managed by the central government. It owns four listed companies: Shenyang Machine Tool Co., Ltd., Global Medical, China Pharmaceutical, and China Textile Standard. Its subsidiary China Post Putai is a leading enterprise in the field of smart terminal trade, with an average annual business scale of 80 billion yuan. It is an important strategic partner of Huawei. In April 2023, China Post Putai’s first AITO Super Experience Center in Shenzhen was officially opened and operated in Bantian, Longgang. In the same year, it was upgraded to the country’s first Hongmeng Intelligent Travel Super Experience Center.
