On July 16, the 2024 China International Licensing Industry Summit was held at the Dragon Dream Hotel. Industry leaders and guests from home and abroad discussed the development trends and future opportunities of the IP licensing industry.

The China International Licensing Industry Summit is a major event held in parallel with the Global Licensing Expo Shanghai (LEC). It is held the day before the LEC every year and is a landmark platform for innovation, creativity and authoritative dialogue in the Chinese and global licensing industries.

This summit is supported by the Hongqiao Fashion and Creative Industry Alliance, and co-organized by the Global Licensing Show Shanghai and the International Licensing Association. It takes "Convergence and Integration" as its theme and focuses on three dimensions: trends and changes, value-added and strategies, and opportunities and challenges.

At the meeting, nearly 20 industry leaders from the International Licensing Association, Warner Bros., IMG, MINISO, Haichang Ocean Park, and China Literature Group shared their successful experiences and innovative practices in the field of IP licensing, providing useful reference and inspiration for the development of the industry.

As a special part of this summit, the Changning District Brand IP Licensing Matchmaking Conference was held simultaneously, and Lu Hao, deputy mayor of Changning District, attended the event. Focusing on IP and clothing, consumer products and licensing management, representatives of Changning fashion brand companies and carriers conducted business matching with representatives of IP parties. Participants said that this matchmaking conference has built a good platform, giving brands and IP exhibitors an opportunity to develop together and work together. Under the radiation of the agglomeration effect of Changning's fashion and creative industries, forces from all walks of life will take this matchmaking conference as a new starting point, work together to open a new chapter of cooperation, and show Changning's more distinctive advantages in China's licensing industry.

It is reported that LEC is a stop in the world's largest licensing series exhibition, hosted by Informa Exhibitions Group. It settled in China in 2017 and is committed to building a precise docking platform for all categories of IP and brand owners in various industries. So far, LEC has served more than 1,800 IP brands, and its business covers more than 20 industries. Informa Exhibitions Group's subsidiary Yibai Media Exhibition (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. was established in Changning in 2009.

The 7th LEC will be held from July 17 to 19 in Hall 1.1 & Hall 2.1 of the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). Interested citizens can make an appointment to visit.
