Last week, The Finals received a major update to version 3.4, and users on PS5 and PC received the update immediately. However, Xbox players have not yet received the patch.

A few days ago, developer Embark apologized to players for the update delay, but did not tell Xbox players when they can get the update.

In the official Discord chat channel, Oscar, a member of the development team, said: "We are currently working with Microsoft to resolve the situation where the version 3.4 update is blocked on Xbox. I don't know the estimated time of release yet, but I will share anything as soon as I know it. We apologize for such a long delay and can only ask for your patience while we resolve this issue."

The Finals 3.4 update includes a number of balance changes to the game, as well as party chat functionality in the main menu and reduced matchmaking time to join a game.
