It is reported that in order to enhance the environmental awareness of employees and guests, the hotel displays energy-saving and environmental protection promotional panels and electronic screens with green promotional posters in the lobby area to convey the environmental protection policies and the hotel's energy-saving and emission reduction achievements to guests, and guide guests to develop energy-saving and environmentally friendly living habits.
In terms of guest rooms, Novotel Wonder Hotel actively sorts garbage, reduces the consumption of disposable items, and encourages guests to bring their own toiletries; installs water-saving shower heads and faucets in the bathroom; chooses to use environmentally friendly detergents in guest room cleaning, reasonably controls the amount of detergents used, and avoids excessive cleaning that causes environmental pollution. Regularly clean and maintain air-conditioning facilities and equipment to ensure the normal operation of the fresh air system and fresh air in the guest rooms; promptly replaces damaged light bulbs to avoid unnecessary energy consumption.
In terms of green catering, the "Square" buffet restaurant on the second floor of the hotel has placed propaganda on reducing food waste in the dining and picking-up areas, advocating the "Clean Plate Campaign", and setting up rewards for guests who finish their plate to increase their enthusiasm for ordering and picking up food in moderation. In catering procurement, local ingredients are given priority to save energy consumption and carbon emissions caused by transportation. The purchasing department selects degradable or recyclable tableware, encourages guests not to use disposable tableware, and the hotel does a good job of disinfecting tableware. The low-carbon and environmental protection concept is promoted from departments to the entire hotel, and the core concept of green hotels of "energy saving, environmental protection, safety, and health" is implemented in every aspect of work.
