According to the report, Volcano Engine, Alibaba and SenseTime are among the top three Chinese GenAI IaaS service providers in the second half of 2023.

IDC pointed out in the report: "New forces represented by SenseTime are seizing the golden development window of the GenAI IaaS market and rapidly grabbing market share." It is reported that SenseTime began its layout long before GenAI became popular, and successfully crossed the border with its resource reserves and all-round technical capabilities of large models and large devices. It has become the third largest service provider in the GenAI IaaS field and the leader of the new forces in GenAI IaaS.

In July this year, SenseTime launched the country's first large-scale model with streaming native multimodal interaction capabilities, "SenseNova 5.5", with an overall performance improvement of 30% over the "SenseNova 5.0" two months ago. It also took the lead in launching the country's first "what you see is what you get" model "SenseNova 5o", whose streaming multimodal interaction effects and multiple core indicators are comparable to GPT-4o, bringing a new AI interaction mode.

In 2023, China's GenAI entered its first year of development, and the demand for intelligent computing power has exploded. Industry insiders said that as GenAI is upgrading from single-mode to multi-mode, from general-purpose to vertical industry fat-tail penetration, and from training to reasoning, the market demand for GenAI IaaS services is rising exponentially.
