Beijing Business Daily (Reporter Liu Sihong) On July 15, Beijing Business Daily reporters noticed that "Fujian Finance" issued a risk warning on preventing illegal fundraising in the name of virtual currency, saying that recently, some companies have been found to solicit people to subscribe for investment in the name of "DD0 digital options", claiming that they are anchored by physical assets, and issue and launch digital options DD0 through overseas digital asset exchanges, using this as a gimmick and signing subscription agreements with investors to issue DD0 digital options to the outside world. In essence, it is the issuance and trading of virtual currency. According to the notice issued by the People's Bank of China and other seven departments, virtual currency-related business activities are illegal financial activities, and overseas virtual currency exchanges providing services to residents in my country are also illegal financial activities. There are legal risks in participating in virtual currency investment and trading activities, and the losses caused by this shall be borne by the person himself.

To this end, the Office of the Leading Group for Preventing and Dealing with Illegal Fund Raising in Fujian Province reminds the general public that virtual currency lacks a clear value basis and is easily subject to malicious speculation and price manipulation, becoming a tool for illegal fundraising, fraud, money laundering, drug trafficking, smuggling and other illegal and criminal activities. We must enhance our awareness of prevention and risk identification, look at virtual currency rationally, establish correct monetary and financial management concepts, eliminate the wrong idea of "getting rich overnight", invest and manage finances through formal channels, do not be credulous, do not blindly follow others, and keep our hard-earned money. If you find any clues of suspected illegal fundraising, you should actively report them to the local anti-illegal offices or public security organs, and rewards will be given once the reports are verified.

Article 25 of the "Regulations on the Prevention and Disposal of Illegal Fund-raising" stipulates: "No unit or individual may obtain economic benefits from illegal fund-raising. The losses incurred due to participation in illegal fund-raising shall be borne by the participants themselves."
