kuai technology news on october 7,kia motors' new pure electric suv, ev3, has officially rolled off the assembly line at the gwangmyeong evo plant in south korea.

the plant is hyundai motor group's first dedicated to electric vehicle manufacturing and also plans to produce the kia ev4 in the first half of next year.

according to current news, ev3 is expected to be localized by yueda kia.

ev3 is positioned as a small pure electric suv and was released on may 23 this year. it adopts kia's latest design style.

its exterior design includes inverted l-shaped daytime running lights, longitudinally arranged headlight clusters and contrasting color body surrounds.

the vehicle size is 4300/1850/1560 mm and the wheelbase is 2680 mm, which is the same level as byd yuan up.

in terms of interior, ev3 is equipped with an integrated through-screen and a 5.5-inch screen dedicated to controlling air conditioning. it is equipped with kia's latest car-machine system and supports online navigation, music and car-machine interconnection.

in addition, ev3 is also equipped with high-end configurations such as seat heating/ventilation/memory, steering wheel heating, usb type-c charging port, front-row mobile phone wireless charging, ambient lighting and harman kardon audio.

in terms of power, ev3 is based on hyundai motor group's e-gmp platform. it adopts a 400-volt architecture and is equipped with a rear single motor with a maximum power of 150 kilowatts and a maximum torque of 283 n·m. the 0-100 km/h acceleration time is 7.5 seconds. top speed is 170 km/h.

in terms of battery life,the car provides 58.3 kwh and 81.4 kwh battery packs. the latter has a cruising range of up to 600 kilometers under wltp operating conditions and can be charged from 10% to 80% in 31 minutes in fast charging mode.
