the "dancing in shijingshan" activity has promoted the artistic level of beijing community dance teams, creating intangible cultural heritage square dances, peking opera square dances, beijing-style cheongsam shows, beijing folk custom dances, etc., providing support for mass literary and artistic innovation in public cultural demonstration areas across the country.
it is reported that before beijing shijingshan district applied to create a national public cultural service system demonstration zone in 2016, it introduced the national square dance training base of the central academy of culture and tourism management and the beijing square dance training base of the beijing municipal bureau of culture and tourism to compile "square dance culture" two blue books, "development report (2017)" and "square dance culture development report (2022)", are being prepared to record the "new square dance star evaluation" teaching materials to further standardize the development of the square dance industry in the national field. the national square dance training base of the central academy of culture and tourism management has trained more than 39,000 square dance instructors, more than 700 judges, and more than 300 choreographers across the country. the number of continuous participants in the "dancing gathering in shijingshan" is nearly 10,000.
