drum tower

gulou west street is a unique street near the drum tower in beijing. this famous xiejie is located along the coast of shichahai, running from northwest to southeast. its unique street pattern was created in the yuan dynasty, benefiting from the convenience of the jishuitan canal and the central position of the bell tower and drum tower.

outside di'anmen

di'anmenwai street is located at the northern end of the traditional central axis of beijing's old city. it connects nanluogu lane to the east, shichahai to the west, starts from di'anmen east and west street in the south, and reaches the drum tower in the north. it spans two urban areas in the east and west, with a total length of nearly 800 meters. since the formation of the yuan dynasty, di'anmenwai street has embodied the ancient chinese concept of "front dynasty and later market".

beihai north gate

beihai park is an existing classical royal garden in my country that was built earlier, is well-preserved, and has profound cultural deposits. the song "let's swing the oars" made beihai park a household name.

dongguanfang

dongguanfang hutong is located in the middle of changqiao area, running north-south, starting from di'anmen west street in the south and ending at xinghua hutong in the north. it was called donggongfang in the qing dynasty, and was named dongguanfang hutong in 1965.

pinganli intersection west

the name pinganli came about after 1938. when the imperial city was demolished during the republic of china, this area was located in the northern part of the imperial city and was also called the north imperial city root. after the north imperial city was demolished, several nearby small alleys were widened and collectively called pinganli.

chegongzhuang north

the original name of chegongzhuang was "chexuluzhuang", but the later pronunciation was changed to chegongzhuang. one of the landmark buildings in chegongzhuang is the beijing mei lanfang grand theatre, which is about 6 kilometers away from the national center for the performing arts and about 2 kilometers away from beijing north railway station.

deshengmen

deshengmen arrow tower, located on deshengmen west street, xicheng district, beijing, is an ancient building with a long history and profound cultural heritage. take bus no. 887 in front of deshengmen to go to the badaling great wall.
