according to reports, the ukrainian ministry of defense previously had eight deputy ministers.
umerov posted on facebook that under martial law, the armed forces, military intelligence and transportation sectors are off limits.
"this means that all internal procedures must be clear and controlled. any external and internal attempts to exert influence are unacceptable," umerov said.
the report pointed out that umerov did not provide further explanation for the dismissal.
in addition, umerov also announced the transfer of state-owned military import and export enterprises from the military intelligence service to the ministry of defense.
