first, consumers are enthusiastic about participation. it took 33 days for the number of people participating in the event to exceed 1 million nationwide, and only 17 days for the number to reach 5 million. as of 0:00 on september 29, 5.11 million consumers purchased 7.11 million units of eight major categories of home appliances, enjoying central subsidies of 6.403 billion yuan, driving sales to over 33.5 billion yuan.

second, green smart products are highly favored. among the eight categories of home appliances, first-level energy efficiency products are welcomed by the market, accounting for 92.53% of sales. hubei, shanghai, chongqing and other places have expanded the categories of home appliance subsidies based on local conditions, including water purifiers, dishwashers, sweeping robots and other green smart home appliances into the scope of subsidies.

third, sales in both online and offline markets are booming. according to a third-party data company, the online and offline market sales of eight major categories of home appliances increased by 44.9% and 47.0% respectively year-on-year. the transaction volume of eight categories of home appliances on an e-commerce platform increased by more than 130% year-on-year. the customer traffic of a certain home appliance sales company's stores across the country has doubled, and sales of computers and air conditioners have increased by nearly 300% and nearly 100% respectively.

the ministry of commerce stated that in the next step, it will continue to urge all localities to accelerate the implementation of subsidy policies, encourage home appliance production and distribution companies to seize important consumption nodes such as national day and "double eleven", superimpose corporate profits, and fully release the policy effect.
