this morning (september 28),xinjiang's "xinjiang electric power transmission" fourth channel power supply project has started in ruoqiang county, bazhou.the project isthe first 10-million-kilowatt "shago" project in southern xinjiangshortage"delivery items, after the project is completed, it will provide a strong guarantee for subsequent power transmission to sichuan and chongqing.
the power supply project is an important part of the fourth channel of "xinjiang electricity transmission". ruoqiang is located in the hinterland of the taklimakan desert. the project develops new energy according to local conditions, effectively utilizes 1.5 million acres of deserted land in ruoqiang, and controls 320,000 acres of desertified land, providing important support for the full-scale fight against the edge of the taklimakan desert.
it is understood thatthe total investment in the fourth channel of "xinjiang electricity transmission" is about 100 billion yuan, the planned total installed capacity of power supply projects is about 19 million kilowatts, including 4 million kilowatts of wind power, 8.5 million kilowatts of photovoltaics, 3.96 million kilowatts of advanced and efficient coal power, and about 2.5 million kilowatts of new energy storage. after the project is completed and put into operation, it will deliver more than 60% of green electricity to the sichuan and chongqing regions, and can provide 5 million kilowatts of reliable power support during evening peak hours.
