on september 28, the 2024 huawei developer competition guangdong division finals was successfully held in songshan lake, dongguan. as an important event in the huawei ict field, it aims to promote technology and identify outstanding projects and talents. since its launch in july this year, the guangdong competition area has attracted more than 580 contestants to form more than 160 teams and incubated 94 innovative applications, covering areas such as ascend ai, hongmeng ecosystem, domestic industrial software, and huawei cloud services. after fierce competition, 27 teams stood out and entered the final defense.
han zhixiang, director of the songshan lake industry and information technology bureau, emphasized the importance of digital transformation and introduced the "songshan lake developer village" project, which aims to empower developers and reduce enterprise transformation costs. zhou jue, coo of huawei (songshan lake) developer innovation center, shared the achievements of the developer village in more than a year, including cultivating more than a thousand certified developers and exploring new models for manufacturing transformation.
at the finals, participating teams demonstrated innovative solutions focusing on smart agriculture, medical health, smart manufacturing and other fields, fully demonstrating the practical application potential of ict technology. huawei developer competition operations manager zheng pengyuan explained the rules of the competition in detail to ensure that the competition is fair and just.
