china news service, guangzhou, september 27 (reporter guo jun) the reporter learned from airbus helicopters china on the 27th that airbus helicopters were recently delivered to the police aviation detachment of the guangzhou municipal public security bureau command center (hereinafter referred to as "guangzhou police aviation") its first airbus h175 helicopter. the new helicopter will perform public service and emergency management missions.

before this airbus h175 helicopter entered the fleet, guangzhou police aviation's fleet included two airbus h145 helicopters, which were delivered in 2016 and 2019 respectively and had a total of 3,200 flight hours.
zhang rui, deputy mayor of guangzhou and secretary of the party committee of the guangzhou public security bureau, said: "the h175 helicopter is an important tool for us to perform a variety of public service tasks. its excellent performance and mission capabilities will improve our execution efficiency."
the airbus h175 super-medium helicopter has been put into operation since 2015. it combines long range, large payload and stable flight quality. it provides excellent solutions for a variety of land and sea missions, including rescue and disaster relief, search and rescue, public services as well as missions as diverse as maritime commuting, private and business aviation. the 65 airbus h175 helicopters currently in service have accumulated more than 240,000 flight hours.
currently, china has approximately 80 airbus helicopters used in public services to support public utilities. (over)
