the fourth large-scale fashion project in the guangdong-hong kong-macao greater bay area, "greater bay area: fashion fusion 2024", sponsored by the hong kong special administrative region government's "cultural and creative industries development department" (formerly known as the hong kong special administrative region government's "creative hong kong") and hosted by fashion farm foundation (hereinafter referred to as "fff"), a non-profit fashion promotion organization in hong kong, has recently come to an end after six months. one of the key activities, "guangdong-hong kong-macao greater bay area tour fashion exhibition 2024", has recently opened its last stop in hong kong after successfully completing two stops in shenzhen and guangzhou.
it is understood that the "greater bay area: fashion fusion 2024" project covers six major cities, including shenzhen, guangzhou, zhuhai, zhongshan, dongguan and hong kong, and hosts four major main activities: fashion shows, touring exhibitions, fashion music nights and fashion cross-border collaborations. it focuses on emerging designers in the greater bay area's fashion industry and outstanding graduates from professional design schools, and strives to promote exchanges and cooperation in the bay area's fashion industry.
a total of 87 ingenious works were exhibited at the hong kong stop of the "guangdong-hong kong-macao greater bay area tour fashion exhibition 2024". the exhibition, with the theme of "all-inclusive", brought together 37 fashion design brands and art units in the greater bay area, as well as 6 professional design schools. whether it is the display categories, design styles, or design themes and expression concepts, all aspects can be said to be closely linked to the theme of "all-inclusive".
in addition to mature designers, the tour invited outstanding graduates from six professional design schools in the greater bay area to exhibit their design works. the wild creativity and vitality shown in the designs are impressive, and what is even more amazing is the students' attention to social concepts.
