on september 26, according to huawei's official wechat account: in order to accelerate the promotion of mobile applications to join the hongmeng ecosystem, the hongmeng thousand sails battle swearing-in ceremony with the theme of "wait until the flowers bloom" was held at huawei's bantian base yesterday, marking that the hongmeng ecosystem is accelerating towards a new journey of full commercial use. partners such as baidu, bilibili, dingtalk, eastmoney, jd group, kingsoft office, kuaishou, meituan, alipay, shenzhen kaihong, tencent, netease group, and weibo participated in the swearing-in ceremony.
on june 21, at huawei's annual developer conference (hdc), huawei announced that the "pure blood hongmeng" harmonyos next will be available for developers and pioneer users in beta (testing). huawei will launch the official version of harmonyos next in the fourth quarter of this year. so far, 10,000 applications and meta-services have been listed on the harmonyos next application market, covering 18 major areas and meeting 99.9% of users' usage time. harmonyos next will officially start public testing on october 8.
huawei vice chairman and rotating chairman xu zhijun said: "hongmeng can only be a true mobile operating system if it has its own ecosystem. only then can applications, operating systems, and chips work together to continuously improve experience and security. since huawei decided to build the hongmeng native ecosystem, it has received strong support from application owners and developers. now there is hope, and we look forward to seeing the flowers bloom in the mountains."
