this year marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the people's republic of china and the 75th anniversary of the founding of the people's air force. from november 12 to 17 this year, the 15th china international aviation and aerospace exhibition (hereinafter referred to as "china airshow"), co-organized by the guangdong provincial people's government and the people's liberation army air force, will be held in zhuhai, guangdong province. on the morning of september 25, the china airshow press conference was held in beijing.
yu qingjiang, deputy commander of the people's liberation army air force, said that as one of the organizers, the people's liberation army air force regards participating in the air show as an important part of the 75th anniversary celebration. in order to present a wonderful and unforgettable high-level international professional air show to domestic and foreign audiences, the people's liberation army air force has made careful planning and preparations, with new faces in weapons and equipment, new areas in exchange activities, new expansion in exhibition content, and new elements in cultural displays, in order to showcase the phased achievements of the modernization of the air force under the leadership of the party, and to show the era style of the people's air force in the new era anchored in the struggle goal of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the army and moving forward firmly. the exhibition consists of four parts:
1. display of weapons and equipment. on the basis of previous air shows, the number of air-ground equipment displays and flight display subjects will continue to increase. first, in terms of static display, the four sections of "air control operations and air strikes, unmanned and anti-unmanned operations, strategic delivery and airdrops, early warning detection and air defense and anti-missile" will be distinguished to systematically display the strength of the air force. many equipment will be unveiled for the first time; second, in terms of flight display, the new fighters developed by the air force in recent years will be publicly unveiled, intuitively demonstrating the capabilities of long-range strategic delivery and air strikes. in addition, brother forces such as the army and the navy will also send equipment to participate in the exhibition.
second, carry out extensive exchanges. during this air show, the air force will focus on playing a strategic leading role in high-level exchanges and interact with all parties at multiple levels and in multiple fields. first, continue to hold international exchanges on military flight training. leaders of air forces of many countries will lead delegations to participate in the air show and conduct in-depth discussions on topics of common concern. second, in line with the development trend of new domains and new qualities of forces, hold unmanned intelligence themed seminars and exchanges, and drone annual meetings to discuss the vision of unmanned and intelligent development in the future air and space. third, summarize the useful experience in recent years, organize exchanges on the construction of air force youth aviation schools, military aviation medicine theme forums, etc., expand the channels for military-civilian exchanges and cooperation, and let the voice of the chinese air force spread further.
3. enrich the exhibition pattern. in this air show, the number and area of the air force booths will reach the highest level in history. while continuing to run the air force recruitment booth, for the first time, independent booths will be set up around the fields of air force air traffic control, air force ground schools, and air force equipment repair technology, forming a display matrix with unique air force characteristics, aiming to popularize air force knowledge in multiple dimensions, promote the results of air force reform, and provide a different window for all sectors of society to have a deeper understanding of our flying military.
fourth, show the culture of the military branch. the air force's "august 1st" flight demonstration team and the "red eagle" flight demonstration team will go to zhuhai again to dance with many foreign flight demonstration teams. we will launch propaganda products and cultural and creative products that reflect the red genes, heroes and models of the air force, and the development of the military branch at the air show. in addition, the air force military band, composed of grassroots officers and soldiers, will also make its debut in zhuhai, playing the blue sky music with the audience, and will also go to local art centers and universities to perform military music concerts, and interact with citizens and students.
