shen yufan started shooting in the fifth grade of elementary school. as shen yufan's first coach, chen zefeng witnessed the growth of this child. but her shooting career was not smooth sailing. after a year of training, when shen yufan was preparing to participate in the competition, her family wanted her to focus on school courses. although the coach communicated with her family many times, shen yufan temporarily put aside her beloved shooting training. during the time away from training, she was unwilling to give up and fought for the opportunity to volunteer in the school shooting club.

when she was in the second year of junior high school, shen yufan found coach chen again and hoped to continue shooting. after a month of recovery training during the summer vacation, she won the fourth place in the provincial competition and won the ningbo shooting competition championship at the end of october of that year. for this reason, the city-level shooting coach immediately extended an olive branch to her, and her family finally supported her choice. shen yufan's mother said, "we respect your decision this time."
during the training period in ningbo, shen yufan's training results improved by leaps and bounds. she was selected for the provincial team in just one year and the national youth team in two years. this year, she will represent the national youth team. chen zefeng said that shen yufan is still young and has a long way to go in the future. he hopes that she can become more and more stable in international competitions.
