cctv news:the beijing municipal education commission recently released the revised "implementation measures for the beijing ordinary high school academic achievement examination", which focused on optimizing the examination methods of the qualification examination. the examination time for some subjects was shortened, and the foreign language listening examination method was changed. it will be implemented from the first high school qualification examination in 2025.
beijing's general high school academic level examinations are divided into qualification examinations and graded examinations. the revised version of the "implementation measures" focuses on optimizing the qualification examinations, and the graded examinations remain unchanged. all subjects set in the general high school curriculum plan have qualification examinations, a total of 13 subjects.
this revision made adjustments to the length of the qualifying examination: chinese remained unchanged at 120 minutes, mathematics was adjusted from 120 minutes to 90 minutes, foreign language was adjusted from 120 minutes to 90 minutes, and ideology and politics, history, geography, physics, chemistry, and biology were adjusted from 90 minutes to 60 minutes.
after the qualification examination is adjusted, the foreign language listening test will be organized and implemented by the schools under the guidance of each district in the form of school examination, and the results will be reported to the beijing education examination authority by each district. for candidates who are not students in ordinary high schools, the district where they registered will organize the listening test at the specified time, and the results will be summarized by each district and reported to the beijing education examination authority.
