akkabak village in danangou uzbek township is a pastoral village. in winter, livestock from the mountains migrate back to the village for enclosure. people have nothing to do except take care of the livestock. "it's different in recent years. herders leave one person at home to take care of the livestock, and the rest go to the factory to earn money," said wang tao.
"the factory is right next to the village and the work is easy," said villager bulihong nurbek.
there is a vast gobi desert in the north of mulei county, which is one of the top ten windy areas and five light areas in xinjiang. "to the north of our village is the gobi desert, where nothing grows, and the wind is very strong every year. since the development of photovoltaic and wind power, it no longer feels desolate," said bulihong.
walking into bulihong's home, the yard is tidy and clean, the coffee table is filled with various dried fruits, the house is spacious and bright, and all kinds of home appliances are available.
