in the central area of the perennial plant area of the science park, a wild bird release ceremony attracted many eyes. shi yang, a senior engineer of the beijing wildlife rescue center, explained in detail the rescue and scientific release concepts of urban wild birds, emphasizing the importance of protecting urban birds and maintaining ecological balance. then, as the rescue box was slowly opened, several wild birds that had been carefully cared for flapped their wings and flew back to the embrace of nature.

among them, jin xu from beijing nanhaizi elk park museum shared his experience on "understanding wild birds in cities on the central axis", which not only revealed the close relationship between urban birds and human life, but also guided the public to pay attention to and participate in the protection of urban birds. jin miao from the national museum of natural history shared how to use museum resources to promote public science education from the perspective of museum social education, providing new ideas and directions for bird watching activities on the central axis. tang junying, a senior teacher at beijing no. 11 middle school, led the "no. 11 middle school bird watching team" established in 2013 and also joined the event.
