considering the number of applicants and the width of the starting assembly area, the 2024 taiyuan marathon will continue to use a mixed start for the full and half marathons.check-in and start in different areasthe specific method is as follows:
bag storage and retrieval
2024 taiyuan marathon full and half marathon mixed by pacea total of 10 assembly areas are set up.there is one assembly area each for the mini run and the family run, for a total of 12 assembly areas.
this year, the taima international marathon will continue to have strict zoning registration and management.athletes must enter the venue strictly according to the zones. if a runner is found to have started outside of the zone, his/her race result will be cancelled.all contestants are requested to follow the referee's instructions and start in an orderly manner at the competition site.
we provide full and half-marathon runners with72 clothing storage carts, distributed in three areas at the starting point, see the parking plan for clothing storage for details:
please contestantsfind the corresponding storage car according to the storage car number on your number cloth，clothes storage deadline is 7:10, please arrange your time well.
note: please stick your race number on the designated location of the garment bag in advance, with the number facing outwards.

the bag storage vehicle will start to transport the bag to the bag pick-up area at the finish line. after the full and half marathon runners finish the race,you can find the corresponding bag retrieval tent according to the clothing storage car number on your number cloth and pick up your bag.

transportation tips
since the start and end points are not together and there are limited parking spaces around the start point, it is recommended that participants take a taxi or walk to the start point to avoid traffic congestion. all participants can also open the amap and search for "taiyuan marathon route"related functional points,help players navigate easily and participate in the competition without worries。
arrival by taxi
if you take a taxi to the starting point of the race (taiyuan station)——
▍from the north, northwest, or northeast, it is recommended to take a taxi along "jianshe north road" and get off at the "intersection of wulongkou street and jianshe road", then walk to the assembly area
▍from the south, southeast, or southwest, it is recommended to take a taxi along "jianshe south road" and get off at the "intersection of jianshe road and yingze south street", then walk to the assembly area
arrival on foot
if you live near the starting point (taiyuan station)
▍starting from the east side of the starting point:
1️⃣ go west along wulongkou street to jianshe road and reach the assembly area
2️⃣ go west along chaoyang street to jianshe road, then north to the assembly area
▍starting from the west of the starting point:
1️⃣walk along wuyi road to wuyi square, then head east to the assembly area
2️⃣go along "fudong street" to "jianshe road", and then go south to the assembly area
3️⃣from wuyi road, go to shangma street to jianshe road, and head south to the assembly area
▍starting from the south of the starting point:
1️⃣ take "bingzhou north road" to "yingze south street", then go east to the assembly area
2️⃣ go north along jianshe road and reach the assembly area
▍starting from the north:
1️⃣ go south along jianshe road and reach the assembly area

passengers who need to go to taiyuan station to take the train during the race on september 22 can refer to the following tips:
▍from the north, northwest, and northeast:
it is recommended to get off at "jianshe north road" at "junction of wulongkou street and jianshe road" and walk south to taiyuan station
▍from the south, southwest, southeast:
it is recommended to get off at "jianshe south road" and "junction of jianshe road and yingze south street" and walk north to taiyuan station
