since the yangtze river delta jujin science and technology innovation competition was launched in november 2022, it has lasted for 3 years, held 2 seasons, and has gone through 3 provinces and 1 city in jiangsu, zhejiang, shanghai, anhui, with a total of 25 games. the 2024 season continued to upgrade on the basis of the original 10 million reward pool, added angel group selection and awards, and invested more event ecological resources.
this year's competition further selected the best from the best. after 15 online and offline competitions, 235 preliminary finalists were strictly reviewed by more than 100 professional judges after 1,206 project reviews. finally, 30 projects entered the finals and 14 projects qualified for the ultimate showdown.
professor qian shizheng of the school of management at fudan university said in his summary, "only by understanding the times can you have the future. in this era, it is not your competitors that eliminate you, but your failure to keep up with the times. among the 14 projects participating in the finals, new generation information technology accounted for 40% and the biological track accounted for 45%. it can be seen that we are using silicon-based life to create silicon-based intelligence, thereby changing our world. biotechnology and artificial intelligence are being 'grafted', and what appeared on the stage today is precisely a projection of the real world."
