on september 20, the 27th beijing-hong kong business fair's trade and logistics cooperation special promotion event was held with the theme of "empowering and gathering strength for win-win cooperation". it was jointly organized by the fengtai district people's government and the hong kong commerce and economic development bureau, transport and logistics bureau, and trade development council. more than 60 high-quality enterprises and institutions from beijing and hong kong participated.
the promotion activities focused on trade logistics, supply chain, investment and trade, etc. at the scene, the fengtai supply chain collaborative innovation development service platform and the hong kong supply chain enterprises cooperated to develop a long-term exchange mechanism formally established.
in may this year, the fengtai supply chain collaborative innovation development service platform was established. this is beijing’s first government-led "big platform + high vertical" supply chain service platform. more than 30 industrial chain supply chain companies such as huadian tendering and guoneng yiguo technology have settled in. the industry scope covers rail transit, aerospace, electric power and energy, medical health and other fields. the annual total transaction volume of the platform reached 1.5 trillion yuan.
the establishment of this long-term exchange mechanism is the first time that the beijing district-level supply chain service platform has carried out in-depth cooperation with hong kong. the platform will conduct in-depth docking and exchanges with the federation of hong kong industries and the hong kong transport and logistics association, so as to combine fengtai's advantages in location, transportation, space, supply chain and hong kong's development advantages in the field of trade and logistics, and jointly promote the "four-chain integration" of innovation chain, industrial chain, capital chain and talent chain.
as the "front yard of the capital and the gateway to the city", fengtai district gathers three stations and one building, namely beijing west railway station, beijing south railway station, beijing fengtai railway station and lize city terminal, as well as seven expressways in and out of beijing, including beijing-xiong'an, beijing-shanghai, beijing-hong kong-macao, etc. the high-speed rail passenger flow accounts for more than 75% of the city. xinfadi agricultural products wholesale market, the "vegetable basket" of the capital, and china logistics group are also located in fengtai.

"as the country's capital and the leading economic center of north china, beijing's economic and trade relations with hong kong have always been inseparable." lam sai-hung, director of the hong kong transport and logistics bureau, said that the in-depth cooperation with fengtai district will be conducive to mutual benefit and win-win results between beijing and hong kong.
