this is a scene from the 2nd millennium ancient town (songjiang·sijing) dragon boat invitational tournament in 2024. it is understood that there are 24 dragon boat teams and more than 600 athletes participating in the dragon boat race, allowing songjiang citizens to truly feel the charm of china's excellent traditional culture.

it is reported that in order to ensure the safety and smooth progress of the event, the public security detachment of songjiang public security bureau, together with the traffic police, special police detachment, sijing, chengzhong road, and water police stations, formulated a strict security work plan before the game. on land, on the basis of its own police force, security forces such as street and town staff and volunteers were superimposed. according to the principle of hierarchical control and ensuring the core, they were dispersed to entrances and exits and viewing points to increase the rate of seeing police and staff. at the same time, in order to facilitate parking for citizens watching the game, the police set up temporary parking spaces along the route of the dragon boat race, strengthened mobile patrols along the route, and ensured the safety and smooth progress of the event and the smooth and orderly roads. on land and water, songjiang police went to the waters of the race section many times in the early stage to conduct hidden danger inspections. on the day of the competition, water patrol boats were added, and unmanned water rescue aircraft were equipped to ensure water and land safety.
at around 9:45, zhang zhiming, a police officer from sijing police station who was patrolling the scene, received a request for help from a citizen who said his 7-year-old granddaughter was missing. after asking about the girl's clothing on that day, zhang zhiming immediately reported the incident to the on-site command center. while conducting a video search, he also shared the girl's physical characteristics in the work group and mobilized the on-site security police to search for her simultaneously. in just 5 minutes, the police found the little girl who was watching the game alone.
