recently, 2024beidouthe "belt and road" technology and application international training course was launched, and many international students from countries and regions along the "belt and road" such as mongolia, egypt, algeria, nepal, laos, and indonesia participated in the training. unistrong built a high-end platform for students to learn and exchange beidou satellite navigation technology and its wide application.
with the support of the international cooperation bureau of the chinese academy of sciences, the china satellite navigation system management office, and the international cooperation department of the china association for science and technology, this training course is jointly hosted by the space information innovation institute of the chinese academy of sciences, the academic exchange center of the china satellite navigation system management office, and the international training center for beidou applications under the belt and road initiative. the training course lasts for two weeks. through special lectures, visits, and interactive exchanges, the course systematically studies the construction and development, application and industrialization of the beidou system, and related integrated innovation and development courses, providing a platform for scientific and technological personnel from different countries to communicate and learn navigation technology. since the opening of the course in 2017, unistrong has been the technical learning and exchange unit of the training course for seven consecutive years, providing strong support for the development of the training work.
in the special lecture session, dr. jun shen, chief scientist of unistrong, was invited as a lecturer on september 3rd. he gave a lecture on the topic of "the development of beidou satellite navigation system and its applications". he taught the students the construction and development process of the beidou system from "beidou-1", "beidou-2" to "beidou-3" system, as well as the application promotion and international cooperation of beidou.
on september 7, the trainees came to the beijing headquarters of unistrong and visited the unistrong beidou satellite navigation application museum and satellite navigation application experience hall to gain a further intuitive understanding of the development of navigation technology from landmark navigation, astronomical navigation, geomagnetic navigation to satellite navigation, as well as the construction, application and international cooperation results of the beidou system; and through promotional videos, physical displays, personal experience and other methods, they gained an in-depth understanding of the innovative integrated applications of beidou/gnss technology in precision agriculture, digital construction, surveying and mapping, smart transportation and other industries.
through on-site visits and personal experiences, the trainees expressed their appreciation for unistrong’s innovative achievements in beidou/gnss technology and product research and development over the past 30 years, and expressed their expectations for the beidou system to empower the digital development of more countries and regions along the “belt and road”.
this year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of unistrong. over the past 30 years, along with the development of china's satellite navigation industry, unistrong has continued to deepen its presence in the industry and has formed profound industrial advantages and global business layout capabilities by building a comprehensive and multi-level product development and service system. as of now, unistrong's product sales cover more than 100 countries and regions including those along the "belt and road". through cooperation with demonstration projects in many countries and regions, it has promoted the international development of beidou/gnss technology and applications.
while focusing on the development of its main business, unistrong actively participated in training activities related to beidou technology and industry, which not only promoted in-depth exchanges and cooperation between beidou/gnss technology at home and abroad, but also successfully built an international platform for knowledge sharing and experience exchange. in the future, unistrong will rely on its strong core technology advantages and precise market layout capabilities to continuously innovate, strive to develop more cutting-edge application products, and actively explore application models that meet the needs of the new era. at the same time, the company will further increase its promotion efforts in overseas markets, promote the widespread application of beidou/gnss technology in more countries and regions along the "belt and road", and inject strong impetus into the economic and social development of these regions.
