if you compare the normal video recording modes of action 4 and 5, both cameras are in 4k 60fps super stabilization mode.you will find that the picture of action 5 pro is darker.

but this is actually much better than the mindless brightening of action 4, and although the picture is darker, the colors and details of the picture are more restored.

however, the action 5 pro's screen crop will be larger, and the displayed content will not be as good as the previous generation...

if you compare it with the super night scene mode, the picture of 5 pro is indeed brighter, but the overall effect is still very restrained. it is not the kind of mindless brightening, while also ensuring details.

the only pity is that the super night scene can only be selected at 30 frames.so the picture smoothness will be a bit worse.

in general, whether it is ordinary video or super night scene, the night scene quality of action 5 pro is quite good. although it is not the best sports camera in night scene, it is enough for daily use.
