on september 19, chongqing transportation investment group reported that the first data asset transaction of chongqing state-owned enterprises - chongqing rail transit qr code data product transaction was completed at the western data trading center. this marks an important progress in the data assetization of chongqing state-owned enterprises.

in order to explore the application scenarios of rail transit data and revitalize state-owned assets, chongqing rail transit group has cooperated with western digital exchange center to carry out the pilot work of data assetization of chongqing state-owned enterprises since december 2023. relying on the western digital exchange center, the only data trading place in chongqing, the qr code data assets of chongqing rail transit have gone through the processes of listing products, releasing products, submitting purchase requirements, organizing bargaining negotiations, issuing reports, signing agreements, etc., and finally achieved a successful transaction with two internet technology companies.

the completion of this data transaction is another important breakthrough in chongqing rail group's data asset work after it obtained chongqing's first social data asset registration certificate on may 7, 2024. it is also a useful attempt to innovate ways to revitalize state-owned assets.
from inventorying and screening data assets, to reviewing, publicizing, completing title confirmation, and then to trading and monetizing, chongqing rail group and western digital exchange center have piloted and explored the entire chain of data assets.
at present, our city has explored the implementation path for the confirmation of data assets of chongqing’s state-owned enterprises, established a popularizable state-owned enterprise data trading model, and initially formed a mechanism for the development and utilization of state-owned enterprise data resources, which is of great significance to promoting the deep integration of the real economy and the digital economy.
