the competition events include four individual events, "men wearing air respirators on the spot", "men's individual all-around", "women wearing firefighting combat uniforms on the spot", and "women using fire extinguishers to put out real fires", two double events, "men's real water coming out of fire hydrants" and "women's real water coming out of fire hydrants", and the group event "the whole process of radio direct alarm, quick dressing, moving the car with a car mover, evacuating the wounded with a stretcher, and fire hydrant water gun shooting".
a beijing news reporter saw that in the competition venue of the "women's fire fighting combat uniform dressing on the spot" event, a contestant finished the competition in 13.41 seconds, with a smooth movement and a speed far exceeding that of other contestants, and the contestants off the field applauded enthusiastically. in the competition venue of the individual all-around event, the contestants skillfully completed the dressing on the spot, crossed obstacles, opened rescue channels, put out fires with fire extinguishers, and connected water hoses, without any operational errors or obvious lags.
beijing rail fire department said that although rail units have different responsibilities, their work often involves complex underground environments. once a fire occurs, not only will firefighting and rescue be difficult, but evacuation and escape will also face great challenges. this event aims to promote various units to pay attention to firefighting skills training and firefighting force construction through competition, thereby improving the fire safety prevention capabilities of the rail transit industry.
