the sound of gongs and drums, the dancing of unicorns... at around 2 p.m. that day, accompanied by the leaders of each village (community) and fellow villagers, the new recruits, wearing camouflage uniforms and big red flowers on their chests, walked into the fenggang town administrative service center in high spirits.
fenggang town party committee secretary zhang yaohong, deputy party committee secretary and town mayor han junfeng, town party committee member liu zhe and other town leaders attended the farewell party. the meeting reported on the conscription work in the second half of this year, read out the list of new recruits, and presented them with enlistment souvenirs. the new recruits made a speech, saying that they would live up to expectations, obey orders, train hard, and strive to become an excellent soldier as soon as possible.
