the reporter learned that during this operation, the power supply inspection personnel comprehensively checked the installation of "high voltage danger, fishing is strictly prohibited" warning signs in dangerous fishing areas such as fish ponds and reservoirs under high and low voltage lines, cleaned up debris around the warning signs, repainted those with unclear writing, and "checked for leaks and filled gaps" for damaged or missing ones to ensure that each sign can play a safety warning role. on the other hand, they also continuously strengthened on-site inspections and increased the number of inspections near fish ponds and reservoirs. once someone was found fishing under the power lines, they were promptly persuaded to leave and choose a safe fishing spot again. at the same time, they communicated with fish pond owners and reservoir contractors to jointly stop offline fishing and ensure that anglers maintained a safe enough distance from the lines.

so far, the state grid wuhan jiangxia district power supply company has distributed more than 500 pieces of publicity materials on preventing electric shock and fishing safety, added or replaced 15 "high voltage danger, fishing is strictly prohibited" safety warning signs in prominent locations in reservoirs and rivers, and cleaned up more than 20 debris around the warning signs. next, the company will further use "online + offline" publicity methods to let the public understand the dangers of fishing under power lines, enhance the safety awareness of anglers, and tighten the "safety valve" of offline fishing.
