the changle district civil affairs bureau introduced that the bureau is based on its duties and focuses on the following tasks:

first, we will carry out marriage and family counseling work in depth. we will hold marriage and family counseling lectures in an all-round, multi-channel and professional manner to help the masses establish correct concepts of marriage and family, guide young people of marriageable age to establish a love and marriage concept of "putting character first and feelings first", and actively respond to the national marriage and childbearing policy to jointly promote family harmony and social harmony. since the beginning of this year, our bureau has taken the lead in cooperating with relevant departments to hold 24 marriage and family counseling lectures through "online + offline", and 45,966 people have participated in counseling (16 offline, 504 people; 8 online, 45,462 people). in 2025, our bureau will effectively strengthen premarital counseling work, actively seek financial support, and specially hold a series of premarital counseling lectures to help the masses change their ideas and concepts, establish correct views on love, marriage, and family, and help single men and women successfully get rid of singleness.

second, actively build a public welfare marriage and dating platform. give full play to the role of the district marriage service industry association as a bridge and actively build a public welfare marriage and dating platform for young people of marriageable age. on april 18, the district marriage service industry association and the district trade union jointly held the "millennium ancient town·romantic date" public welfare marriage and dating event in meihua town, with more than 100 single young people participating; on may 4, the district marriage service industry association and putian xing'an guild hall jointly held the "may 4th youth day" public welfare singles gathering in shangxiahang, fuzhou, with 46 single young people participating. through friendship interaction, we can continuously expand the circle of young people's friends, reduce the cost of marriage and love for single young people, and further enhance the sense of gain and happiness of young people of marriageable age in changle.

the third is to prevent marriage fraud during marriage registration. during the marriage registration process, when it is discovered that the woman has had flash marriages and divorces with different people many times, or when it is discovered that the two parties have applied for registration after knowing each other for just a few days, our bureau requires window staff to remind them to try to let the two parties get to know each other in depth before registering, so as to avoid conflicts and disputes and loss of betrothal gifts caused by marriage fraud and other issues. this year, a total of three male parties who came to yutian town and luolian township for flash marriages were reminded. afterwards, it was learned that the woman was indeed suspected of defrauding betrothal gifts through marriage, and the man and his family expressed their gratitude to the staff for the reminder.
