a staff member of the relevant department of tianshui housing and urban-rural development bureau said:although the infrastructure on xihuang avenue is not perfect, they do not advocate the child's father's behavior of "blocking rescue efforts and calling the police first". they understand the child's feelings. when a child is in danger, the first thing to do is to save the child.call the police for help at the same time, and then contact the relevant departments to find the responsible party. the staff member suggested that the child’s parents can contact the city and district housing and construction bureaus and connect with the municipal departments for handling.

on september 15, the deputy director of the qilidun sub-district office in qinzhou district confirmed to red star news that a girl did fall into a well on the sidewalk of harmonious home on september 14.the girl is currently fine, and the community and other relevant units are still following up on the situation.the deputy director said that this should be a municipal sponge project, and there were about 8 manhole covers involved in the construction process. the child fell in when passing by. "after learning about this incident last night, we immediately sent people to the scene to check. when we checked, we found that all 8 manhole covers had been covered with safety measures."
