september is the national defense education promotion month. on september 12, in order to do a solid job in national defense education for young people and further strengthen their national defense concepts, the qianshan county national defense mobilization office conducted an air defense and disaster prevention emergency evacuation drill at qianshan county experimental middle school.
at 9:30 a.m., as the pre-alarm sounded, more than 700 teachers and students, under the command of the guides, evacuated quickly to the designated location through various evacuation channels without stopping or crowding. in the emergency evacuation drill, teachers and students were organized in an orderly manner, evacuated quickly, and were nervous but not panicked. after the air defense alarm sounded, all teachers and students squatted and held their heads with their hands. when the alarm was lifted, the safety officers of each class quickly counted the number of people and reported the situation to the on-site commander. the entire drill process was tense and orderly.
at the event, the military department of the county people's armed forces department gave students an open class on national defense education. the blue sky rescue team explained the knowledge of drowning prevention to students and taught them how to use rescue equipment such as life ropes and lifebuoys provided by the water to enhance teachers' and students' awareness of drowning accidents and improve their self-protection ability.
