on september 11, the 2024 "yangcheng cup" guangdong-hong kong-macao greater bay area cybersecurity competition finals came to an end at the guangzhou nansha international financial forum conference center. as one of the series of activities for the 2024 national cybersecurity publicity week, this competition follows the general idea of "based in the bay area, coordinating with hong kong and macao, and radiating across the country", and for the first time invited teams from hong kong and macao to participate in the finals. a total of 12 teams from hong kong and macao, 18 undergraduate college teams, 20 teams from higher vocational colleges, 20 teams from party and government agencies and public institutions, and 20 teams from related enterprises participated in the finals. after nearly eight hours of fierce competition, 5 teams won the first prize, 9 teams won the second prize, and 13 teams won the third prize.
