chen yao, secretary of the party branch of the school of culinary arts and nutrition at nanjing vocational college of tourism, told reporters that the college will tailor a training program for these direct-admission contestants who will win the competition, including recommending mentors, selecting specialized classes such as cold dishes and western pastries based on their specialties, and serving as student teaching assistants. the college will also give priority to selecting contestants from among them to participate in the national vocational college skills competition.

the reporter learned that the number of freshmen who have reached the undergraduate entrance line has increased significantly this year. lv beibei from suqian scored 482 points in history in this year's college entrance examination and was admitted to the "3+2" higher vocational and undergraduate major in tourism management. wang shuting from xuzhou scored 484 points in physics and was admitted to the same major. both of them have exceeded the undergraduate entrance line. they will study in nanjing tourism vocational college for 3 years, and after passing the transfer examination, they will be promoted to nanjing industrial vocational and technical university to complete their undergraduate studies.
