according to china youth network, this conference was hosted by the internet society of china and lasted for three days from july 9 to july 11. it focused on the theme of "thirty years of internet and new qualitative changes in wisdom" and took "forums, exhibitions, innovation competitions, and special activities" as the main line. a total of 18 forums were held during the event. more than 3,700 units including china telecom, china mobile, china unicom, pinduoduo, 360 group, qi'anxin group, and uka group participated in the conference. nearly 300 guests from government departments, authoritative institutions, and well-known companies expressed wonderful views at the conference and released more than 20 major achievements.

in addition, the award ceremony for the first "golden lingguang cup" china internet innovation competition was also held at this china internet conference, presenting trophies and certificates to the winning units in nine tracks: artificial intelligence, data elements, information technology application innovation, digital government, new industrialization, corporate compliance, data security, international cooperation, and digital education.

on the last day of the conference, at the closing ceremony, the internet society of china released the china internet development report (2024). the report shows that in 2023, the development of my country's internet industry will show a good trend, the construction of new information infrastructure will achieve remarkable results, key cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and the internet of things will be innovatively developed, and the empowerment effect of digital-physical integration will be more powerful, injecting strong momentum into key areas such as industrial internet, business transactions, and entertainment creation.

it is reported that the convention was drafted under the guidance of the information and communications administration of the ministry of industry and information technology, and the china internet society and the china academy of information and communications technology, aiming to further guide and regulate the algorithm recommendation activities of internet information services, protect the legitimate rights and interests of netizens, maintain a reasonable and orderly market environment, and promote the healthy and sustainable development of my country's internet industry. tencent, jd.com, pinduoduo, kuaishou, iqiyi, vipshop, ucar group and other 35 internet companies became the first corporate representatives to sign the convention.
