"according to the regulations on the placement of veterans, self-employed veterans who have won third-class merit during their service will receive a one-time economic subsidy of 5% in proportion to the basic standard of economic subsidies for local conscripts." zhou dajin, member of the party leadership group and deputy director of the yunyang district veterans affairs bureau, combined his own experience in the military, from joining the army to the entire life cycle of veterans, and systematically explained the relevant national, provincial and municipal policies on military support and preferential treatment and employment placement for conscripts during the period of "entry, service and retirement". he focused on introducing how the recruits adapt to military life, the preferential allowances for the families of conscripts during their service, the meritorious service awards, the "glorious home" plaque, as well as post-retirement education and training, employment and entrepreneurship, and veteran preferential cards. he encouraged them to develop strong skills and noble character in the army, strive to be "four-have" revolutionary soldiers in the new era, make contributions to the motherland, add color to their hometown, and bring glory to their families.
