china (dalian) international garment and textile fair (hereinafter referred to as dalian fashion fair) is the earliest clothing fair held in my country. its predecessor was the "dalian international fashion fair" which was held in 1988. it is the first clothing exhibition in my country certified by the global association of the exhibition industry (ufi).
the theme of this dalian fashion expo is "fashion and technology 2030", and the exhibition area is 21,000 square meters. among them, the overseas exhibition area includes the european pavilion, the american pavilion, the italian pavilion, the russian pavilion, and the asian pavilion. the exhibits cover clothing, fabrics, equipment, etc., and more than 400 exhibitors from home and abroad, more than 420 well-known brands, and more than 1,000 buyers attended the exhibition.

li qiang, deputy director of the department of consumer goods industry of the ministry of industry and information technology of china, said that at present, china's total textile and clothing exports have been above 300 billion us dollars for four consecutive years, ranking first in the world for 30 consecutive years. although the industry is facing certain challenges and pressures, from the perspective of the industry's development stage, development conditions, and development advantages, the fundamentals of china's textile and clothing industry, which are strong in resilience, great in potential, and broad in space, have never changed.
li qiang suggested that we should support original design and brand building, provide more display opportunities for original designers and emerging brands; encourage textile and garment enterprises to actively embrace the concept of green manufacturing and promote the improvement of the green and sustainable development industrial system; encourage textile and garment enterprises to accelerate the pace of digital and intelligent transformation, so as to improve design efficiency, production efficiency and product quality.
sun ruizhe, president of the china national textile and apparel council, said that dalian's textile and garment industry has built a personalized clothing customization center, a characteristic manufacturing cluster and advanced formats with pulandian smart manufacturing as the core and the "dachaodi" project in jinpu new district as the driving force. at the new starting point, it is hoped that dalian will seize the opportunity of further deepening reforms, create high-quality scientific and technological productivity, cultural productivity and green productivity, and build a new quality of industry and a new quality of development.
