it is reported that the guangzhou national youth football training base project is located on the north side of the mingxing section of lixin highway, lihu street, zengcheng district, with lihu lake to the east, jinxiu banshan yujing garden to the west, and guangming village to the north. the project has an investment of 680 million yuan, covers an area of more than 270 acres, and will build 13 open-air stadiums. according to the previously announced planning map, there is a mountaineering park on the southwest side of the football training base, and a multi-functional training hall, scientific research building, restaurant, athlete apartments and other land on the northeast side. as for the rest of the land, they are all built into football fields, stands, etc. among them, there are 13 open-air football fields and 1 rooftop football field. the 15th national games will be held in november 2025. among them, guangzhou will host football (women's under 16 group) and other events.
