it home reported on september 12 that nvidia released the latest geforce whql game ready driver yesterday (september 11), version number 561.09, which mainly supports optimization of four games: "final fantasy 16" (pc version released on september 17), "god of war: ragnarok" (pc version released on september 19), "ea sports fc 25" and "frostpunk 2".

the nvidia 561.09 driver update also adds new geforce optimal settings for black myth: wukong, f1 manager 2024, and star wars: outlaws.

unfortunately, this driver update does not fix the game errors in the previous version, but only includes a few general bug fixes. it home attaches the following fixes:

fixed an issue where the performance monitoring overlay in geforce experience could stop refreshing gpu information

fixed an issue with the nvidia app where game filters could be missing when invoking the nvidia overlay in-game

fixed performance issues with certain workloads when using chaos v-ray
