on september 11, at the 2024 china top 500 enterprises summit forum, the china enterprise confederation and the china entrepreneur association released the list of "china's top 500 enterprises" to the public for the 23rd consecutive time. state grid corporation of china topped the list with a revenue of 3.86 trillion yuan, and the entry threshold for the list was raised to 47.381 billion yuan compared with the previous year.
the five provinces with the most top 500 chinese companies in 2024 are beijing, shandong, guangdong, zhejiang and jiangsu. among them, shandong has 17 state-owned enterprises on the list, and 9 state-owned enterprises have revenues of over 100 billion yuan.
