the video circulating on the internet shows thatmany people were injured and lying on the road, including children in school uniforms.the perpetrator was wearing a red shirt, a white jacket and black sunglasses and was controlled by the traffic police. the vehicle involved in the accident was a white e-a cadillac.

mr. guang recalled: "it was around 7:50 in the morning. when i was sending my child back, the accident had already happened. two electric bikes fell on the roadside, and several injured people were lying on the ground. some caring people helped wipe the blood with tissues. the injured should not be in danger of life for the time being." mr. guang told the dute news reporter that the incident happened on tanhu road. other witnesses at the scene told him,the perpetrator hit someone with his car and ran away. he was caught by the traffic police after walking a distance."the perpetrator was caught at the junction of tanhu road and guanggu avenue," said mr. guang.

according to netizens in wuhan local community "guo zao ke",a total of seven or eight students and parents were hit, but the driver did not get out of the car to check the situation immediately, but fled. as a result, he hit someone else while fleeing, and was then blocked by traffic police and the public.

in an interview with a reporter from dute news, a staff member of the jiangxia district urban management department said that they had received complaints about traffic jams and vehicles occupying the road near canglong no. 2 primary school since the morning, and several complainants said that a traffic accident had occurred in the area. currently, the urban management department of canglong island is investigating the cause of the accident.

the reporter checked the map and found that tanhu road, where the incident occurred, is about 1 kilometer away from canglong no. 2 primary school on foot, and the cycling time is about 5 minutes.“tanhu road is very narrow, and the traffic is very complicated towards canglong no. 2 primary school, especially at the intersection.”mr. guang said that his own child also attends canglong no. 2 primary school.traffic accidents have occurred on this section of road more than once.
