the statement pointed out that all the actions and contents published by the criminals who impersonated comac to create fake websites and fake financial management apps have no connection with the company and its affiliated units. investors are advised to be vigilant, carefully distinguish and beware of fraud. the company reminds relevant individuals or enterprises not to click on the links or attachments contained in any suspicious emails or text messages, and not to make any form of payment as required by the other party to avoid property losses; if losses have been suffered, they should report to the public security organs immediately.
comac stated that once any illegal acts that impersonate the name of comac to commit fraud or infringe upon the legitimate rights and interests of comac and its affiliated units are discovered, comac will resolutely safeguard its legitimate rights and interests through legal channels. comac solemnly warns organizations and individuals that impersonate comac to commit fraud or other illegal activities to immediately stop all illegal acts.
red star capital bureau noted that comac had issued a similar statement earlier. in june 2023, comac issued a statement on its official website stating that some criminals had fraudulently developed a "large aircraft" app program in the name of the company.
at that time, the statement said that some criminals had impersonated comac to develop an app program called "big aircraft", and released false investment and financial management projects such as "comac small options", "comac stock options", "arj21 private equity fund", "c919 private equity fund" and "cr929 small fund".
